NEWS RATING
As Diljit Dosanjh travels from city to city on his Dil-Luminati Tour, his enthusiasm has swept over India. He recently enthralled the crowd in Jaipur after two days of performances in Delhi. On the internet, the singer's contact with a Marwari fan during the performance has won hearts. In addition to honoring the fan's "pagdi," Diljit joined him in a bhangra.

A charming video from last night's Jaipur concert was posted on Diljit Dosanjh's team's official Instagram account today, November 4, 2024. The fan, who was also wearing a white kurta, was seen standing next to Diljit, who was wearing a white suit, in the video. He asked for a round of applause for the man's "pagdi."

The singer then told, “Yeh pagdi humari shaan hai; yeh humare desh ki yahi khoobsurti hai; har 2, 3, 4 ghante baad humari boli change ho jaati hai, humara khaana change ho jaata hai; yeh humare desh ki yeh beauty hai (This turban is our pride; this is the beauty of our country; every 2, 3, 4 hours our speech changes, our food changes; this is the beauty of our country).”

Diljit Dosanjh further added, “Aur hum jahan jahan se hai, koi Jaipur se hai, koi Gujarat se hai, koi Delhi se hai, Haryana se hai, Punjab se hai, hum sabko pyaar karte hai (And wherever we are from, someone is from Jaipur, someone from Gujarat, someone from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, we love everyone).”

He claimed that we all had a passion for this nation. The fan responded in the affirmative when Diljit questioned if he was a Marwari. The performer from Amar Singh Chamkila requested that the audience cheer for the Marwaris.

Diljit began to sing Main Hoon Punjab, twisting his signature line with the words, "Mera bhai Marwari aa gaya oye." After that, the two danced together on stage.

In terms of acting, Diljit Dosanjh has appeared in two films in 2024: Crew and Amar Singh Chamkila. In an exclusive update, it was previously disclosed that he co-stars with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in the comic flick No Entry 2.
