The singer made it clear that musicians have no control over ticket reselling and underlined that it is the resellers' problem, not the artist's, if someone purchases a ticket at a discount and resells it for more money. He emphasized his opinions on the matter by citing a poem by Rahat Indori as well.
Diljit addressed the matter further by saying he didn't care about the criticism from the media. "People can blame me as much as they want," he said, "but I don't fear negative attention or being defamed."
He stated calmly that he is not under any stress or anxiety as a result of the claims. He revealed, "People from the media, blame me as much as you want. I don’t have any fear of being defamed. I don’t have any tension."

He emphasized in his statement that the issue has always existed in the entertainment industry and is not specific to his tour.
