Big B's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda opens up on not wanting to be part of movies!
Navya Naveli Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's granddaughter, has an entrepreneurial mindset and is even acting by ruling down new ventures. She recently talked at the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024, where she stated that she did not want to be an actor by choice, despite the fact that her entire maternal family, including her brother Agastya Nanda, works in the entertainment industry.
Navya stated that everyone must take an active role in living up to the expectations of their own heritage. When it comes to her, she believes she is more passionate about social impact and business, and that is where she intends to focus her future and efforts. “Irrespective of the background I come from, this is what I always wanted to do. I am grateful for all the opportunity that is my reality today. That is not the reality for many people in India. I never wanted to act,” Navya stated.
Navya Naveli Nanda is the daughter of Big B's eldest daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, who married businessman Nikhil Nanda on February 16, 1997. Naveli, on the other hand, recently made headlines with her podcast What the Hell, Navya, in which she tackled a variety of societal concerns alongside her mother and maternal grandmother as guests.
Nanda has faced criticism for her IIM admission, with individuals questioning her credentials and eligibility. During the conclave, the 26-year-old also discussed how she protects herself from social media trolls and how little she cares about it. According to Navya, social media has given many individuals a voice and is an excellent platform for putting your work out there.
