Directed by Siddharth Anand, known for his high-octane action spectacles like Pathaan, the shoot at Mumbai's Mehboob Studios is reportedly pulling out all the stops, involving a massive crew of nearly 200 stunt performers and the expertise of three international action specialists.

Sources close to the production reveal that the sequence, which commenced earlier this week, is set in a foreign jail where Shah Rukh Khan's character, a ruthless assassin, takes on a formidable gang of criminals. This promises to be a pivotal and visually stunning highlight of the film, showcasing SRK in a "raw" and "gritty" avatar, distinctly different from his previous action roles in Pathaan and Jawan.

 

To ensure the authenticity and impact of these physically demanding stunts, director Siddharth Anand has brought in a trio of international stunt experts to design and choreograph the sequence. The initial crowd portions of the scene, featuring around 200 stunt performers, were canned on June 15, with Shah Rukh Khan joining the shoot shortly thereafter. The intense filming for this jail sequence is expected to continue until June 21.
