Arya Babbar's Bold Comment on Brother Prateik's 2nd Marriage!

On Valentine's Day, Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee were married in a private ceremony at the home of his late mother, Smita Patil, in Bandra. His father, Raj Babbar, and his half-siblings, Arya and Juhi Babbar, were not there. Arya quietly hinted at his thoughts on the matter when he made a caustic comment regarding Prateik's second marriage after the wedding.

Additionally, he recounted Raj Babbar's reaction to being left out, noting that the seasoned actor played it cool and dismissed the importance of being left out.

 

In a recent Instagram video, Arya Babbar addressed the wedding invitation rejection and discussed Raj Babbar's response to being left out. He casually mentioned a discussion he had with his father and said, “Main bolta hoon papa lekin agar media wale kal poochenge, jaise bachpan mein poochte the 'aapko kaisa lag raha hai aapke papa ka affair chal raha hai'. Toh iss baar puchenge 'aapko kaisa lag raha hai aapki bhai ki shaadi hai aur aap nahi ja rahe?'” (I say, Papa, but if the media asks tomorrow, just like they used to ask in childhood, ‘How do you feel about your father having an affair?’ This time they will ask, ‘How do you feel about your brother getting married and you not being there?’).

 

Arya mockingly recalled that when he asked his father how he should react to the media, Raj Babbar brushed it off with a casual "no.", "Mard toh shaadi karte rehte hain." (Men frequently get married and it wasn’t a big deal).

 

Arya made fun of Prateik's second marriage in the video, which was first uploaded to YouTube. He joked with a hint of humor, “My dad married twice, then my sister married twice, now my brother Prateik has married twice, even my dog Happy has two girlfriends.”

 

Prateik Babbar is the son of famous actor Raj Babbar and well-known actress Smita Patil. Raj separated from his first wife, Nadira Babbar, then married Smita after their friendship developed while working on the 1982 movie Bheegi Palkein.

 

However, she tragically died at the age of 31 from difficulties during childbirth, ending their trip. Raj Babbar reconnected with Nadira after her death, and the two of them had two children, Arya Babbar and Juhi Babbar.
