South superstar Yash begins shooting for Geetu Mohandas' Toxic!

Without a doubt, one of the most eagerly anticipated movies from the sandalwood industry is Geetu Mohandas' upcoming directing project starring superstar Yash.

By providing an interesting update on the film, the KGF actor has delighted all of his fans and well-wishers with his recent update.

On August 8, Toxic's launch was publicized by Yash on social media. Along with the news, he posted a photo and commented, "The journey begins #Toxic".

 

The Kiraathaka actor looks good in the photo sporting a full beard and short hairstyle. Yash went with a white shirt and normal jeans. He might be seen posing with the movie's producer. Both of them had a happy, excited look on their faces as they began something much anticipated.

Prior to the film's production, Yash was observed traveling to multiple Karnataka temples. Producer Venkat K. Narayana, his wife Radhika Pandit, and their families were with him.

To obtain blessings, the actor went to the Kukke Subramanya Temple in Subramanya, the Shri Sadashiva Rudra Surya Temple, and the Shri Manjunatheshwara Temple in Dharmasthala.

 

Toxic, meantime, is reportedly going to delve into the seedy underbelly of the 1950s drug mafia. The movie promises an engrossing story with Yash in a strong, tough role.

In addition to Yash, Nayanthara—who plays the KGF star's sister—and Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi—who plays the antagonist—are reportedly attached to the movie. In addition, Tara Sutaria, Shruti Haasan, and Kiara Advani will also play significant roles, albeit the specifics of their personas are still unknown.

 

Karnataka is where the production team has decided to locate their headquarters. On April 10, 2025, Toxic is scheduled to premiere on huge screens.
