Sam Merchant reviews alleged girlfriend Triptii Dimri's upcoming film, Bad Newz!

Bad Newz, Karan Johar's production, opens in theatres today, July 19. Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk play the main characters in the movie. The producers of Bad Newz arranged a special screening of the film on Thursday in Mumbai, ahead of its release.

And it appears that Sam Merchant, Triptii's purported boyfriend, has seen Bad Newz at last. Here are his thoughts on the movie.

 

Sam Merchant posted his assessment of Bad Newz on Instagram on July 19. Sam shared a video of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri's song Tauba Tauba playing on a giant screen on his Instagram account.

"Great performance...Thoroughly entertaining," he wrote, tagging Triptii, and finishing with a red heart emoji and the letter "ufff."

 

Ammy Virk, Triptii Dimri, and Vicky Kaushal, among other members of the cast of Bad Newz, were present during the film's city premiere. Karan Johar, the producer, attended the screening as well.
