Kesari Veer-Legends of Somnath: The Epic Tale Arrives May 16th!

A new release date has been set for the highly awaited period drama Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath, which stars Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Sooraj Pancholi. The film's makers have formally declared that it will now open in theatres across the globe on May 16, 2025. The movie is a global release by Panorama Studios and was produced by Kanu Chauhan under the Chauhan Studios label.

 

The heroic battles of soldiers to defend the holy Somnath Temple from invaders are vividly depicted in Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath. As Vegda Ji, Suniel Shetty plays the role of a valiant warrior who protects his motherland. Sooraj Pancholi plays a youthful and resolute Rajput prince named Hamirji Gohil, who joins him. Together, they take on the vicious Zafar Khan (Vivek Oberoi) in a titanic conflict motivated by cunning, valour, and unflinching patriotism.

The film incorporates an emotional narrative in between the historical drama and dramatic action. The romance between Hamirji Gohil and Akansha Sharma's character Raajal deepens the story by emphasizing themes of sacrifice, love, and loyalty.

 

The filmmakers gave an explanation for their choice to postpone the movie's release, “The love and anticipation for Kesari Veer have been overwhelming! To ensure a more impactful worldwide launch, we are moving the release date to May 16, 2025.”

 

For those who don't know, the movie was originally slated to be out on March 14.
