Riteish Deshmukh opens up about his OTT debut with Pill!
NEWS RATING
Since his 2003 acting debut in Tujhe Meri Kasam, Riteish Deshmukh has been a busy participant in the Indian cinema business. It's time for him to take over the internet by making his OTT debut with Pill, after working in Hindi and Marathi movies.

The actor also discussed the differences he saw between his big-screen and OTT debuts, as he eagerly awaits the premiere of his first online series.

Riteish Deshmukh reflected on his big screen debut with Tujhe Meri Kasam as he prepared to enter the web streaming space with his series Pill. The actor admitted that he had no idea what he was doing at the time in an interview with a daily. “It was just a new energy; we did what we had to do,” he specified.

But there's a specific kind of sensation associated with his OTT premiere. He claims that the actor from Total Dhamaal is more skilled than in the past and has a thorough command of every facet of filmmaking.

The actor revealed in a media chat that while he has been itching to work in the over-the-top (OTT) area for a while, he wasn't receiving the right scripts or subjects. At this point, director Raj Kumar Gupta and producer Ronnie Screwvala teamed up to create a "terrific duo." Riteish Deshmukh claims that "Pill is a clutter-breaker show."

Giving his opinion on internet streaming services, he said that “OTT format will stay for a long, maybe forever.” Filmmakers have more creative freedom and don't have to rush things in this area. In fact, if the cut goes longer, producers won't have to worry about story trimming. “Even actors are getting good work; makers are realising the worth of talents,” he ended chat. Jio Cinema will begin streaming Pill on July 12.
