MIRA'S SUITABLE CAST!

After months of speculation I can confirm that Tabu and Ishaan Khattar have officially boarded Mira Nair's adaptation of Vikram Seth's novel A Suitable Boy.

 

The six-part web series that centres on a widow’s hunt for a match for her 19-year-old daughter Lata will see the relative newbie Tanya Maniktala playing the feisty prospective bride. Tabu will play the courtesan Saeeda Bai while Ishaan will star as Lata’s suitor Maan Kapoor. A Suitable Boy will have a 100-actor strong cast, so watch this space to see who else Mira ropes in.
