Khan Dynasty: Buckingham Murders, and a Hint of Saif?

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Hansal Mehta worked together on The Buckingham Murders. The actress played a detective in the 2024 crime thriller. Hansal will now collaborate with Saif Ali Khan, Kareena's husband. Recently, the director provided an intriguing information about their project and confirmed it.

Hansal Mehta announced in a media chat that he was working on a film with Saif Ali Khan for the first time. He added that a book served as the inspiration for the tale. “Saif and I are working on a film. I am directing it. It’s an adaptation of a book,” he revealed.

 

Hansal Mehta also mentioned in the interview that he would like to collaborate with Kareena Kapoor Khan once more following The Buckingham Murders. He even said that he had emailed the actress a script. The director said that each time he saw a script, he wanted to work with Kareena.

Hansal commended her professionalism, upbeat attitude, and on-set preparedness. Although he referred to Kareena as a "big star," he acknowledged that working with the actress was an honor. The director went on to say that it seemed like he was collaborating with Rajkummar Rao or Pratik Gandhi.

 

The Buckingham Murders was Kareena Kapoor Khan's first production as well as her first work with Hansal Mehta. Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, and Zain Hussain were among the cast members. Detective Jasmeet Bhamra, who looks into the matter of a missing child, is portrayed by Kareena in the movie.

Regarding her future endeavours, Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to feature in Meghna Gulzar's upcoming movie, which is purportedly called Daayra.
