Ahlawat Breaks, Saif Reacts: Jewel Thief Fun!

Jaideep Ahlawat and Saif Ali Khan will soon appear together on screen in Jewel Thief, an upcoming heist movie. The excitement is already building as the movie gets closer to its premiere date. The Paatal Lok actor discussed filming the combat scenes before the movie's release. He continued by recalling Saif's amusing response during the photo shoot when they shattered mirrors.

 

In an interview with a newspaper, Jaideep Ahlawat disclosed that he and Saif Ali Khan frequently argued while shooting on Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins. The catch is that the movie required it. Regarding their roles, the actor admitted that watching the shot sequences, especially from off-set, was entertaining.

 

He continued by recalling Saif Ali Khan's amusing response to the mirror breaking and fighting. "During one sequence, we broke so many mirrors that Saif was like, ‘Is this our job now?," he recalled.

Additionally, he mentioned in the chat that Spike Lee's 2006 thriller Inside Man is his favorite heist movie. He was enamoured with its complex editing and screenplay.

 

Jaideep was joined in the chat by Kunal Kapoor, who costarred with him in Jewel Thief. He will be portrayed as a detective in the movie. A heist movie should be ahead of its viewers, according to Kapoor, who was previously portrayed as a hacker in Shah Rukh Khan's Don 2.

He underlined that although the audience is fully aware of what would occur, it still presents a surprise if it doesn't. Examining these twists, he claimed, “They should always go, ‘Oh, I didn’t see that coming’".

 

In addition to the excitement the movie will provide, Jaideep's dancing skills in the song "Jaadu" have left everyone quite thrilled.

Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor play important parts in Jewel Thief, which was directed by Robbie Gulati and Kookie Gulati. On April 28, 2025, the Siddharth and Mamta Anand-backed movie will be available on Netflix.
