No-phone policy on the sets of Janhvi-Ishaan starrer movie Dhadak!
Bollywood Newbie Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter will be making their big Bollywood debut in Dhadak. The movie, which is being directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is the Hindi remake of the 2015 Marathi movie, Sairat.
Post Sridevi's unfortunate demise, Janhvi is back on the sets of the film, but numerous pictures and videos from the sets have been leaked courtesy of fans who were around and captured pictures and glimpses of Janhvi and Ishaan in character.
As per to a daily, Karan has issued a strict no-phone policy on the sets of Dhadak so as to avoid further leaks.
A close source from the crew revealed the daily, "Since the film is a remake of Sairat, the plot is already known. So, it is crucial for Shashank to guard the film's look to keep the mystery around the movie alive. Since many scenes are being shot outdoors, the producers are working on procuring permissions to cordon off the area where they are shooting. After all, the videos in question were leaked by the fans who had queued up on set."
Speaking about the leaked snaps and videos is Shashank, who told to the daily, "It's unfortunate that people leak footage. We can only do so much to protect our product, but with outdoor schedules, it is difficult for us. Everyone around has a camera phone. Kis kisko roke? It would be nice if people were more supportive."
Dhadak is scheduled to release on July 20, 2018.
